1. Who we are

Vitality Concepts (Pty) Ltd ("Vitality Wellness", "we", "us"), a company registered in the Republic of South Africa, with its registered address at 2 Seventh Avenue, Glen Marais, Kempton Park, 1619, is the Responsible Party for the personal information collected via vitalityconcepts.co.za.

2. What information we collect

  • Waitlist / Notify Me: email address, submission timestamp, and a hashed IP address (used only to detect abuse).
  • Contact form: name, email, message content.
  • Technical: browser user-agent, referring URL, and aggregate usage analytics if you accept optional cookies.

3. Why we process it (lawful basis)

  • Consent — to email you launch and product updates.
  • Legitimate interest — to secure our site, prevent abuse and improve the service.
  • Legal obligation — to comply with SA law.

4. How long we keep it

Waitlist entries are retained until you unsubscribe or 24 months after product launch, whichever comes first. Contact enquiries are kept for up to 24 months. Server logs are rotated within 30 days.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data with operators acting on our instructions:

  • Lovable Cloud (hosting, database, transactional email)
  • Our email delivery provider for confirmation messages

These operators are bound by written contracts and may only process information for the purposes set out above.

6. Cross-border transfers

Some of our operators host infrastructure outside South Africa. Where this occurs, transfers are made in terms of section 72 of POPIA to countries or recipients that provide an adequate level of protection.

7. Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you;
  • Request correction or deletion of your information;
  • Object to processing or withdraw consent at any time;
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.

8. Security

We use TLS in transit, access-controlled databases with row-level security, and hashed identifiers to keep your information safe. If a security compromise affects your information, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as required by section 22 of POPIA.

9. Children

Our site is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information without parental consent.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated on this page and, where appropriate, by email.
